Let it be known that this was my first song EVER to be recorded right(ish) on the first attempt! Probably because I listened to so much damn Greenday as I kid I could sing or play most of their songs in my sleep.

I first heard this song as a cover on a Fat Wreck Chords compilation. I listened to it all the time and then when I heard the original version I thought it kicked ass even more. Big in Japan now reminds me of Emily when I hear because she does an amazing geisha/ninja set and uses this song. All around kick ass set.

Also, it's kind of hard to do a song with basically one chord through most of it!
