The new year for me means challenging myself musically. This year I really want to push myself and become a better artist. I plan to do this by stepping outside my comfort zones, and for this gal that means strumming patterns! I don't know if you have noticed, but I'm pretty locked into a strumming pattern (hint: if you can sing "I'm Yours" to it, I'm probably doing it). So while this song is not as polished as I would like it to be I want to show you that I'm trying to do new things. It might not be easy, but I sure am going to try!

God damn the song is a bummer! If you ever are in a good mood but just want to be in really really bad one listen to this song, or better yet sing it a couple times. I guarantee the world will seem like a much darker place! I remember we were playing Lips (a singing game for the X Box) at a really fun cousins weekend and everyone was having a blast and dancing. Then two of us decided to try this song. I think a few people cried and then we all went to bed.
